GAS APPARATUS WARRANTY STATEMENT
5-Year Torch Warranty
BOC warrants to the purchaser, all BOC Torches, Torch Handles and Cutting Attachments, against defects in materials and workmanship (parts and labour) for a period of five years.
5-Year Limited Regulator Warranty
BOC warrants to the purchaser, all BOC Gas Regulators, against defects in materials and workmanship (parts and labour) for a period of three years. All metallic regulator components are warranted for a period of five years (parts only).
The warranty period is established by the manufacturers date code which is imprinted on the product or date of purchase if proof of purchase date is provided by the purchaser with the warranty claim. BOC makes no other warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation no warranty of merchantability or fitness for purpose. During the warranty period, BOC agrees, at its option, to repair, replace of refund the purchase price of any product found defective upon inspection by BOC. This is the sole and exclusive remedy of the purchaser and the sole and exclusive liability of BOC, whether in contract, in tort, under any warranty, in negligence or otherwise. BOC shall not be liable under any circumstances for any incidental, consequential, special, indirect or other damages, or for loss of use, revenue or profit, even if BOC has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The warranty and remedies provided herein shall not apply if a product is modified in any way except by personnel authorised by BOC, or if anything except genuine BOC replacement parts, tips and consumables are used with the equipment.
Where the purchaser deals as a consumer (as defined in Section 12 of the Unfair Contract terms Act 1977, that is, does not deal in the course of a business nor hold himself out as doing so and where the goods passing under this agreement to the purchaser are of a type ordinarily supplied for private use or consumption), the above conditions shall not affect the Customers statutory right to reject goods.
